Brethren Has a Place for You in Our Program of Christian Education
Christian Education is for
Everyone!
Faith is not static; it is an on–going
process of learning. The goal of the Christian Education program is to help
provide the foundation upon which we may nurture and grow in faith. As we study
the Bible and learn of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, this foundation
will enable us to make life decisions and interpret current events from a
Christian perspective.
We invite you to join us in one of the many
different ways we regularly seek to nurture and grow our faith. Our Sunday
school classes meet each week at 10:00a.m., followed by Worship at 11:00a.m.
Children’s Church is held the 2nd
and 4th Sundays of each month, August through May, with the last 20
minutes being Library time.
Visitors are encouraged to visit different
classes and find the one that best meets their needs.
Sunday School Classes for Adults
Faithkeepers
The Faithkeepers Sunday school class meets
weekly in the room at the top of the stairs (mezzanine). We are young adults
always looking for new ways to explore the Bible and study the word of God. All
are welcome.
Genesis
The Genesis class formed in the early
eighties as a class for young singles and married couples. Over time, our group
has matured to include a wide range of persons. We enjoy fellowship and the
study of God’s word. We meet downstairs in the library. Come join us.
Fellowship
We are the Fellowship class. We are the
adult class that meets in Room #9 downstairs. We just recently moved from the
stage area. We enjoy having lively, spirit-led discussions on whatever topic we
are covering at the time. Our age range is from twenty-something to
sixty-something. We welcome others to join us and take part in our weekly
discussions.
Foundations
We are the most recently organized class at
our church. We are made up of married couples and singles in their 20’s - 40’s; some
with children and some without. Our class involves fellowship and Bible study
based on informal discussion. Each week we meet to study God’s word and to
learn how we can apply it to our daily lives. We welcome newcomers to join with
us.
Friendship Class
We are the adult class that meets on the
stage of the fellowship hall. We are made up of “older” adults. We study the
International Lesson Series and would be happy for you to study with us.
Omega Class
The Omega class meets in the fellowship
hall. We are a class made up of mainly “eight- something” folks, but we welcome
everyone. We study the International lessons.
Sunday School Classes For Children (All children’s
classes meet downstairs)
Nursery
Room #3 for Newborns to two years old. The
nursery is also available during worship.
